About Dr. Bashiri

Dr. Bashiri received his dental degree from the university of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco in 1993, and completed his postdoctoral studies in periodontology and implantology at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles in 1995. He remained in Los Angeles to work and held a clinical associateship teaching position at the University of Southern California for two years. Since then, he has returned to the Bay Area to open his own periodontic practice.

With a compassionate and caring approach to dentistry, Dr. Bashiri is committed to providing patients with top-of-the-line dental care to prevent disorders and gum damage and treat other severe complications, as well as ensuring the proper placement of high-quality dental implants.

Dr. Bashiri is currently a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and Contra Costa and Berkeley dental societies.

				Dr. Bashiri is amazing. He is kind, compassionate, and cares for his patients. The front office staff (Katrina) was also amazing as well. Everyone in the office has phenomenal customer service. I was nervous about getting my procedure done and he communicated with me throughout the entirety, let me know what he was doing, and made me feel comfortable. He works efficiently and truly cares about his patients. I feel very lucky to have been able to have Dr. Bashiri perform my procedure.

				Dr. B was kind, you can tell that he is gentle with his patients. This was my 1st time coming to his office, he made me feel un-nervous, because I was. I didn’t know him, he doesn’t know me but we warmed up to each other and he calmed me a bit. Not everyone is fond of dentists but when they are warm and gentle, it takes the scare out of being there.

				I was referred to Dr.Bashiri about my receding gum problem. Shortly thereafter, I was able to have a consultation with him. He was very professional, address all of my concerns, and was very reassuring, so I decided to allow him to treat me. Yesterday morning, I had the procedure done on the top & bottom right side, and it went well including the sutures. While going through it, he and his assistant were constantly inquiring to make sure that I was comfortable. Later on, after the the numbness wore off, I was able to alleviate the pain by taking two regular strength acetaminophen. That evening he personally called me to make sure that I was still doing ok. At this time, I’m doing very well and looking forward to having him do my left side next month. I highly recommend him if you need to have this procedure done this done.
